How you found....

Might as well post in here first.
I found out about FMP through some others on another message board I frequent who were talking about how great the first few were. This was, I'd figure, about the middle of February or so. So I talked with one of my friends who happened to have the first ep on him, watched it, and was immediately hooked.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

That seems to be the way it is with everyone who sees the series. Nearly everyone I know that's seen even the first episode loved it. Well, with one exception... but I managed to get her hooked anyway, lol.Taurec wrote:Doozo yoroshiku Mal !!

What eps? Zero through Twenty-four. Watching 23 and 24 in raw Japanese while waiting for translations was painful I tell you.

As for me, I discovered FMP completly by accident, when my husband brought me the Newtype USA from Anime Expo (I think it was from Anime expo? Anyway in July), so I read the first episode, and got completly "COOOOOOOOLlLLLL, Wanna read more!!! More!!!!", but when I tried to order it, the people in the shop couldn't find it, and kept saying it didn't...existed.... @_@; *lol*
Then I gave up, and decided to wait a bit, then went to a book fair in Germany, where nice people from Kadokawa gave me all the volumes of the manga released then (1 - 4) ^________^ [[nota : it's due to the profession I do that I get free manga like that, they ain't giving it that easily otherwise... ^^ *lol* ]]
I got then obsessed by the series instantly (was already sort of),and bought Ikinari Full metal panic, the whole anime series that I watched right away (some in DVD, the rest in huge bad quality VCDs... T_T Waiting to get the rest in DVD too).
Now I'm gonna order the books, and I'm already waiting for them to deliver my guide book & encyclopedia.
^-^ that's it...

NewType USA?
That's so ...groovy that you got in down there
What's, so, *totally ungroovy* is that their chapter 2 is only partial- we don't know if it's a mistake, or if they are chopping up the chapters
(heh, if they run each month with only half chapters, then it would take them over a *year* of issues to get up to where the current fan scanlations are right now, chapter 7)

The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.
