Y'know, after seeing DBZ movie trailer I'm very sceptical about movie adaptations... But since this one is done by Japanese, there is at least a ray of hope they won't mess it too much.

I saw the trailer and if they don't screw it up with a storyline that doesn't make sense it might be fun.

Hit the website again just out of curiousity and there's a new trailer available.

Looks like they are following the story of Blood: The Last Vampire
Saw a couple of scenes that looked like they were taken straight out of the anime.

My interest is very, very piqued indeed

Saw the trailer for this the other night on Adult Swim. This is an adaptation of the "Blood: the Last Vampire" anime film, and not "Blood +" which is kind of an alternate storyline. I plan to be there to plunk down the cash on July 10th, which is when it is supposed to open here in the center of Flyover Country.

I hear that it is produced by the same people who did "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," so the wire work ought to be awesome. Now, if they just don't screw up the storyline...

Crud! I just checked our movie listings and no theatre in a 50-mile radius is showing it! I figured since it was being advertised nationally, it would be a general release. Might have to wait for the %@%#$@ DVD...
