STOP that.

I kinda lost interest after no new FMP so I have been hanging on my sims and Political stuff. have a second job and been into Bleach a lot. Other wise Just the normal failings of a Warlord living in the stagnant Us Economy with out a gang of post apocalyptic techno punk scavengers with bows and arrows too command.

Not to say the concept doesn't have appeal though. Last space sim I played was The Descent:Freespace and Starlancer
series. I WAS going to get into Freelancer but never got around to buying it...

BTW, whatever happened to that fanmake of Wing Commander, the "prequel" to WC3?

+1 man! I recall seeing that before. The only thing they forgot was a column for "Network Admins"
and "server admins." I swear I'm ready to declare war on ANYONE with "server admin" as their title / function!

In this economy I don't think we will ever get new fmp related material
and to be true with all the moe crap that has been released the last couple of years I kinda lost interest in new anime ..

@Hop to GOG and get Freelancer for very cheap

I'm "the" Admin so all I have to deal with is a PFY and all of the above.

I was going to ask about that.... last thing I heard before I left monday night was a bunch of telco circuits / routers
going down, and the client's going nuts with "what's the impact? where's the redundancy? etc." Riiiiiiiiight.

Last I heard the NYSE was in 3feet of water. Set me up a lawn chair, beach umbrella, a cold daquri and I'm good to go!

From what I have seen of Long Island on the news...I doubt Killer will be back for quite some time. The whole island has pretty much been flattened.

...and I thought I had to nuke and pave my torrent machine, turns out
a "customer protection" setting on my ISP supplied router was the
culprit. FML!!

I can't wait to getting around to getting it into bridge mode and getting
my own gear back into place.

Family's happy and healthy. Got no power though, and it won't be back until Weds. just in time for a Nor'easter.

I'm missing my shows. Figures, when I figure out how to get around my torrent issue (was a setting in my cable modem that was screwing me) We get a hurricane.

I've been out of power since Last monday, but the main roads a fine so we've been eating out a lot. A family friend got power back friday, so we popped in for a shower and to pick up a loaner generator. Problem is gasoline, or rather , the lack of functioning gas stations. Most of the working stations by me are "emergency vehicles only". The remaining 2 stations got lines 2+ hrs long. The second issue is that the stations have their deliveries rationed. They cut down on deliveries before, during and a little after the hurricane. This is going to be lifted on Thursday, as well as the ports coming back online. There are about 100 fuel tankers sitting in the harbors waiting to get in.

I'm located in Franklin Square, Nassau County. So I'm far away from the shores.
