Another pretty good episode overall, with some nice balance of character moments, plot development... and of course action.
A-Plot has the tease of whether Lena will go to the dark side or not, with an initial bad encounter with Edge thinking
she's out to kill him -- the hacked car idea was rather out there, but the action visuals were entertaining -- so he tries
to revenge kill her back. The James/Lena awkward semidate bit, the Lena/Edge sniping, and the tense moment in the news
room after the murder attempt... There was also the nice moment of Eve Tessmacher shown onscreen again this season. Still
no "Lena on Team Supergirl" and being let in on her secret, but some nice moments of how far Kara will go for Lena -- like
using her arctic breath to put Lena into an induced coma while poisoned (though why take her to the DEO instead of a
hospital is a bit confusing), and playing distraction for when Lena needs to get close to Edge (and a nice bit for Kara to
subtly use superstrength on security at the party).

Also nice in the end giving a chance for Lillian Luthor to come back and be the real villan, intent on winning over Lena
and taking out Edge in the process. Course nothing like extra backup in the form of a drone / Lex Suit she uses to REALLY
make sure the job's done. The only thing Lillian's appeal lacked was an offer of milk and cookies at the end.

B-Plot is about Samantha trying to find out what's going on with her, and some nice one-on-one moments with the female cast,
and Samantha verbalizing her greatest fear is something happening to her daughter Ruby.

Final scene developing the overall plot further. with Winn figuring out the ID of the next WorldKiller. DUNDUNDUN!

Lines / Scenes that I loved :

James : "Why don't you find the exit, or I'll find it for you." HAHAHAHA!

J'onn's speech about acting/reacting. "Great power is being the calm at the center of the storm," and how Supergirl is there
to remind us of the best of ourselves. Now THAT is Supergirl!

Lillian "Do you know of a mother who would kill for her daughter?"

Mon-El using flight powers to help Supergirl. Don't know if it's his ring or his natural power set, but...

Lena "Want to know why I'm not a killer? Friends"

Last ep for awhile as Supergirl goes on hiatus. *sighs* tho more for the hiatus than the episode itself, which was pretty good in setting us
up for the break.

A-plot is about the 2nd Worldkiller Purity, which was a great subject opened with the DEO strike on suburbia house (and Mon-El shown flying
again), the Danvers Sisters Badassery between Supergirl kicking down the door and Alex with her dibs gun. Love how character-wise Supergirl
continues to embrace her humanity and while DEO acts like it's a raid of The Black Helicopters(TM), Supergirl opens her hand of friendship
and reaches out to Julia, even when the Purity personality asserts itself and taunts everyone. It's heavily contrasted with Alex's behavior
of taking the Bad Cop role in interrogation of Julia/Purity, and Alex still herself having emotional issues and "hav[ing] lost hope" since
her breakup with Maggie, and Purity using that against Alex in the cell. The action sequence of Purity activiating and escaping from the
DEO... BRILLIANT!

Final fight scene in the subway tunnels and station -- reminded me of a Mortal Kombat game with things going from the former to the latter
through the floor by Purity's sonic powers. Kinda wierd the fights keeps going instead of evac'ing the station right away, but all the
heavy hitters of Team Supergirl playing their part : Supergirl, Alex, J'onn and Mon-El. Sucks that Purity was able to get the drop on
Supergirl and Supergirl seemingly wasn't able to hold her own against Purity... but then Big Bad #1 drops in in the form of Reign just as
Julia was reasserting herself over Purity, and to end it all, Julia begs for the fight to stop and for her to be taken to the Worldkiller
Fortress.

B-plot is Lena releasing Samantha from her duties at LCorp, but its not about Samantha having to prove herself to Lena, but "in fact I am
ordering you to take today off, be with your daughter." A great scene there, along with Sam and Ruby having some mother/daughter fun...
till Reign takes over again to retrieve Purity and bring her to the Worldkiller fortress. Nice bit with Ruby and Lena after Sam / Reign's
disappearance, and the Lena / Same friendship reinforcement scene at the end when Samantha has a brief Reign moment in Lena's presence.

C-plot develops more of the Legion bits, specifically about fixing the ship with parts from J'onn's ship -- Winn geeking out at both was
priceless -- and Mon-El opening up to J'onn about how he and Imra's marriage was more a political marriage at the start, but genuine feelings
developed afterwards, and seeing Kara again brings out old feelings that he just doesn't know about. Nice that Imra was in this ep -- sucks
she wasn't in the fight this episode, but she also holds her own secret as to why the Legion is really here.

Lines / Scenes I loved :

Alex : "We can try your way, and when it fails, we can try mine."

Alex : "that's a very nice motto but..." speech, shows just how dark a place she's in / gone to.

Winn x Alex hug after Purity pierces her emotional armor.

J'onn : "I left, but only to get these (Martian Moonshine)"

Mon-El and J'onn both using superstrength to hold up the collapsing pillar

Supergirl : "We don't beat them, we save them."

Winn wanting to take the Legion ship for a test drive after helping fix it.

Alex : "I have two speed dials on this phone... you, and Maggie"

Boy, have I missed Supergirl... and so glad it's returned. Opening scene of Team Supergirl karoke'ing with Kara, Alex,
Jimmy, J'onn and Myrnn. WHAHAHAH!! Nice team moment there, and Winn's about to get into it, till news of his father's
death hits. GREAT moment with Winn and Jimmy, and Jimmy's "I'm not going back in" support moment. Guest star Laurie
Metcalf as Winn's mother is another highlight of the episode, and her literal explosive introduction when Schott Sr's
coffin goes kablooie, never mind her witty oneliners, like "[the bathroom] closed for enhanced interrogation," "this is
your job?!," and "can I try, I love operation." Final villan was kind of underwhelming, being a janitor at the prison
who Schott Sr. made his protege and entrusted to carry out his final wishes, though seeing Supergirl wrapped into a
lifesize package and the giant lifesize toy fight with a T-rex was amusing as heck.

B-Plot focuses on J'onn and Myrnn relationship and the life they're building together. But Myrnn himself holds a secret
as he's suffering the Martian equivalent of dementia, and doesn't want Alex to inform J'onn. Definitely loved the dinner
scene and the "I'd rather change the world than change the color of my skin" speech by J'onn and Myrnn. Definitely enjoying
Carl Lumby's presence on this series in this role.

C-plot has Mon-El apologizing to Kara for lying to her, as he found out Imra and Brainiac lied to him. Turns out the
Legion deliberately came to this time but hid it from Mon-El, and the mission is linked to the 3rd World Killer Pestilence,
who eventually becomes future Blight. There's also mention of Mon-El's old Legion Suit -- and with photos of it having
been posted -- looking forward to this!

Final scene of Lena returning Jimmy's call -- still not sure about the Lena x Jimmy stuff -- and how's she's been busy
with work, with Samantha, in a lab. DUNDUNDUN.

Moments / Quotes I love :

Winn and Jimmy bro moments.

Myrnn bought "tomato pie," and needs a $10 tip for the delivery person because they got tackled by the strike team.

Winn scenes talking to his mother, both good and bad. Some GREAT acting there.

Wizard of Oz reference with the sky writing and flying monkey.

Winn's "literal hotwheels" comment when fighting the toys.

Mon-El offkey karoke performance, and Winn / Laurie M karoke at the end.

Slow ep, but great character moments for both M'yrrn and Samantha's characters. A-Plot is dealing with M'yrrn's ongoing
issues with dementia. As much as M'yrrn thinks he can handle it himself, there's signs he can't do it all himself. Great
opening scene with Team Supergirl playing charades with M'yrrn using his mental powers. The mention of J'onn's childhood
imaginary friend "from the 5th dimension" Zouk was an amusing injoke. First sign is not alright is when Supergirl and DEO
is called to the alien bar about a brawling alien that's sensitive to telepathic abilities -- some PRICELESS zingers by
Melissa B in the fight that cracked the hell out of me! Powerful acting by Carl Lumby in portraying the feelings M'yrrn
must be feeling, especially when he loses control of himself to cause a (near) DEO jailbreak.

B-Plot is Lena and Samantha, and Lena trying to find out what is up with Samantha. Alittle more information given about
the whole Samantha / Reign, specifically that her body changes on a cellular level. Great moments of Lena working through
with Samantha what's happening to her, and Jimmy offering his support to Lena. Almost wish all of Team Supergirl was in
on this effort, but gives a GREAT moment for Lena to find her "Inner Evil Bitch" to force Reign to the surface for Samantha
to see the truth.

C-Plot is more Supergirl / Mon-El, and showing us how far Mon-El has come from last season. The Mon-El suit is FINALLY
revealed, and training Supergirl how to use her cape as he did last episode. A-Plot also opens up the issues Supergirl
felt but never said while Mon-El was in his fratboy phase. But I liked it kept to moving the relationship forward, and
Mon-El genuinely showing how much he's grown. The final "Do you want to be heroes?," Melissa B's million watt smile
and the GREAT aerial shot of the two flying through National City... as they see birds dropping, signalling the arrival
of Pestilence.

Lines / scenes I loved :

Supergirl : "Can't hold your liquor" / "I had the high score on that." / fight in photobooth and pictures taken of it.

Samantha : "You ask a Luthor, they'll tell you're a supervillan."

Mon-El : "Time to make you a Legionaire."

Shot of the White Martian and other previous foes in the DEO cells.

Donner-verse reference : Jor-El's "The son becomes the father, the father becomes the son."

J'onn v White Martian fight.

Wow! Things kick up up a couple notches this episode! A-plot is the identity of the 3rd World Killer, and the diametrically opposed viewpoints
between Supergirl and Imra, ie. save versus kill. Imra has a legitimate reason though as the 3rd World Killer Pestilence-soon-to-be-Blight killed
her sister. Also really enjoyed watching Imra use her powerset, such as a forcefield and telekinesis.

B-plot is the continued work of Lena and Sam, and how Lena needs to push Reign out to study her further with high voltages. Loved the "dream world"
time between Sam and Reign, Reign's "come to the dark side" speech to Sam, and Odette Annabel acting against herself in those scenes.

Also have to give a shout out to the actress playing Pestilence, playing her as one so cynical with life she's totally embraced her World Killer
persona, she may not be redeemable per Supergirl's desires to save them all via their human sides. The final shot of the trinity pose of the 3
World Killers.... WOW!!

Great interpersonal moments peppered through the episode which made it all the worthwhile -- Brainac has a "personal imager" to help with dealing
with his Coulian self, Winn recognizes him without it, and Team Supergirl trolling Brainiac, James is delegating at Catco giving him time to support
Team Supergirl, especially right when Winn gets infected by Pestilence and is confined to the DEO medical bay, and J'onn and Alex in regards to
M'yrnn's condition.

Lines / Scenes I loved :

Supergirl : "I don't kill"

Imra : "You fail, so if I get the chance, I will end this."

Supergirl : "That isn't what Yoda would say."

J'onn : "Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's impossible."

Mon-El : "Some decisions can't be made with math equations."

Brainiac : "Social... what?"

Sam "We need to get help!" / Lena "I am the only one who can do this!" Had me hoping would lead to a combining resources with Team Supergirl soon?

Imra "What's what makes you you."

A-plot of the fallout from discovering Lena has been experimenting on Sam -- she characterizes it as "conduct[ing] an LCorp
experiment using LCorp technology on LCorp property -- specifically with kryptonite. Lena has gambled everything she has
on this, but didn't want to be seen (again) as a Luthor to everyone. Loved seeing Lena on Team Supergirl; understandable
Lena isn't trusted by anyone after her admission but sucks they keep playing up the "evil Lena Luthor" angle with it.
Loved Jimmy playing the supportive friend / voice of reason here in spite of knowing firsthand how dangerous kryptonite is
to both Supers, but on the other how Lena has shown by her actions she's worthy of trust and friendship. Not sure about
how Jimmy's Guardian person is used to prove whether Lena has more kryptonite, and how Jimmy / Guardian can't go through
with breaking into Lena's vault, but gives a great moment for Jimmy and Lena's trust and friendship to grow more -- Jimmy
opening up to her about his Guardian persona and breaking into her vault at Supergirl's behest, and Lena admitting that the
kryptonite wasn't Lex's originally but she had figure otu how to make it. DUNDUNDUN!

B-Plot is Sam and Julia caught in the alternate realm and being haunted by the people they killed. Kinda sucks
Pestilence/Purity isn't given much to do other than flatly state she's fully in her WK form and her humanity is totally
gone, but great acting moments for Sam and Julia trying to hang onto their humanity -- Julia trying to remember a particular
song, and Sam trying to remember her daughter's name.

Action comes together when Team Supergirl, The Legion and Lena locate the World Killer fortress and launch an attack leading
to its collapse. And even though on the sideline, Lena shines in taking to the Legion ship like a pair of fitted gloves,
while Alex is given a new suit and gun by Winn. Battle ends with a deux ex machina-ish moment of Julia regaining enough
of herself to take out Purity / Pestilence totally before dying herself and both being absorbed by Reign... and the final
scene of the threat to Ruby and Sam screaming.

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

Brainiac : "Would you like to know our odds at this juncture?"

Lena's admission it wasn't her place to tell Sam's secrets, and she has and knows Supergirl has her own secrets. And how
Lena goes straight for the jugular asking Supergirl what's her real name to prove the point.

J'onn / Mon-El Hug Scene.

Supergirl : "Is this what it's like when humans exercise? It's terrible! Why would you even exercise?"

Supergirl : "Help Brainy!" / Lena : "Okay."

Alex : "I'm going to change now."

Supergirl / Reign heatvision battle and Brainiac percussive maintenance on the Legion ship.

J'onn / Alex : "Blame it on Congress, I don't write our budgets." / "I have a really cool new gun, don't think it won't
work on you."

Supergirl's comment of he slate being clean between her and Lena.

Much more enjoyable episode this time around, but had its rough spots. A-Plot is Reign's search for Ruby to destroy her, started by the
morning after scene between Jimmy and Lena. I'm alittle more comfortable with that relationship, but I still have my doubts of it longterm.
It's good though that the two actors have very good chemistry, and good the two can open up with one another like that. The search next
leads to Sam's adopted mother, guarded by Supergirl and J'onn. Great to see the actress from episode 7 brought, and her regret at not having
taken another route while raising Sam. Ruby herself is hidden at a place only known by Lena -- Lex's cloaked mansion" with creepy
painting of Lillian Luthor -- but Alex insists on protecting Ruby herself. Great final action scene leading to Reign being subdued for now.

B-Plot involves the Legion's return to the future. Some amusing moments again with Brainac before he leaves, like his interaction with
Winn, and I love the look Imra has when she sees Mon-El and Kara together -- insert comment about "she's a telepath, and she's not stupid."
Her comment to Mon-El about how he has to go back to help Supergirl, and to figure out what is in his heart.

C-plot is the straining Supergirl / Kara and Lena relationship due to the kryptonite revelation from last epside, and the straining
J'onn / M'yrrn relationship due to the latter's gradually slipping mind. Great moment at the start with J'onn trying to get every moment
he can with his father, and trying to help him feel useful, but at the end, M'yrrn's mind is going. LOVED how the two actors showed that.
And loved the scene when Lena nonchalantly walks into the DEO with a case of her synthesized kryptonite; her "I'm thinking like a Luthor"
attitude is nicely counterbalanced with Supergirl's vulnerability as to what kryptonite does to her. But great as the two opposing POVs
was, what sucked was one of the closing scenes of Kara meeting up with Lena and catching up, and Lena unloading on Kara what she really
thinks of what her Supergirl persona has done.

Final scene of the Coville Cult, and what one of his followers may have found... uh-oh...

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

Mon-El and Brainiac's "Back To The Future" line.

Brainiac's gift to Winn of 31st century earth dirt, and "Shall we embrace?"

Mon-El : "See J'onn in a 1000years."

Reign / Supergirl : "Did you miss me?" / "So much!"

Jimmy "You're going to have to tell supergirl you know how to make kryptonite."

Pose of Reign floating above the city while looking for Ruby. TOTALLY riffs on Supergirl's pose.

J'onn : "Usually your secret weapon is your heart."

M'yrrn mention of the Eradictor Project

Nod to the Donner-verse movie with Reign spinning through the floor, getting shot at by a bunch of guns, burnt and frozen. And considering
the news of Margot Kidder's passing today...

Supergirl : "This girl has not sinned"

Lena : "It was personal for me too. It was to help my friend."

Mon-El : "Brainy might have put a nanny cam in Winn's dirt."

I'm kinda mixed on this episode, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. A-Plot brings Jimmy's alter ego Guardian to the
forefront again, in a Batmanesque sort of way. In rescuing an escapee from the Coville Reign cut, Jimmy's real identity
is revealed, and if the escapee isn't returned, this will be broadcast all over. The stakes are that much higher when
its mentioned that the Supergirl-turned-Reign-cult may be making a bomb but in reality is trying to make another WorldKiller.

I do have to admit the highlight scene of this plotline was it gave Jimmy a nice bit explaining as a vigilante hero and
as a man of color, prejudice against him runs deep -- his revelation that at age 7 he was cuffed for a "none of them
believed we belonged" moment at a highend hotel was a powerful acting moment, but I found an even more powerful moment
in his "when the time's right, on my own terms, I'm going to take that mask off."

Also liked the bit about Supergirl bringing hope to the hopeless, and her heatvision and artic breath move on Olivia,
the new cult leader who'd lost faith in Supergirl E04 and was trying to make some sense of her life.

...but the final scene of Coville returning, and "has never been better." Uh-oh.

B-Plot is the Alex as a babysitter / surrogate mother to Ruby, and I liked this plotline better, opening with Alex
trying to find some common ground with Ruby, who's still hurting from the revelation about her mother. Some nice
bridge building moments between them, made better when Ruby manages to bring J'onn's father out of his shell with
a game of foosball -- though my suspension of disbelief meter broke that they'd openly admit to him being from Mars in
a public space.

C-Plot is Reign / Sam still incarcerated in Lena's lab -- LOVE the vitrol she spews in there, like "because when I'm
free, I'm going to rip out [Lena's] spine, and when that's done, I'm going to crack this planet in half you'll hear
every scream" -- and is growing resistant to all countermeasures against her. Also leads to the revelation that Lena
has developed more anti-Kryptonian tech, driving a bigger wedge between the two. Sincerely hope this doesn't lead to,
as others in the fandom have speculated, of Lena going evil and/or going dark, but like the "we have legitimate reasons
to disagree" point and counterpoint. I also hope the Lena'll eventually be fully brought onto Team Supergirl, but looks
like it's going to be quite an uphill battle to get to that.

Lines / Scenes I Loved :
- Lena : "This may come as a shock to you but I don't think about you while I'm doing it (developing anti-krypton tech)."

- Eve Tessmacher brought back again.

- Kara : "I'm also friends with her [Supergirl]."

- Jimmy using Cat Grant's elevator is a secret storage locker for his Guardian kit.

- Supergirl / Lena : "I just don't want one mistake to ruin our friendship" / "It won't, we don't have a friendship."
Ouch! Talk about cutting things with a knife here!

- Supergirl landing on the CatCo patio.

- Reference to Donnerverse Superman with the name drop of "Addas Ababa."

- Mon-El as Mike Matthews, and his "owie" comment to being cuffed by the cult. HAHAHA!

- Winn : "Hey James, safety first!"

- Olivia / Supergirl : "Who am I without it?" / "You have a lifetime to figure it out."

Bits I'm Meh / unsure about :

- Revelation that Reign's cells are closer to plant cells, and Kara saying that's part of how Kryptonians process sunlight.
What The Heck?!

- nice final fight scene, but I'd like a solid beatdown by Supergirl of the WorldKillers sometime...

S3E20
---
Alittle better episode in comparison to the last. A-Plot is the continuing effort to save Sam from Reign, necessitating
a trip to outer space by Supergirl and Mon-El, and the revelation that a piece of Krypton, specifically Argo City, still
survives out there as well as Supergirl's biological mother. Loved Erica Durance's presence in the role, though I do admit
I miss the previous actress as well, but I also liked the time that she spends and wants to spend to get to know her daughter
after so long apart. The mention of what's gone before in the previous two seasons of Supergirl really adds to the internal
continuity of the interactions, like Alura's twin sister Astra, Non, and Fort Roz.

Of course, where's the conflict if there isn't something Supergirl needs that Argo City has, namely the mineral from last
episode, which also happens to power Argo City, and inspite of the arguements against thankfully everyone sees the need in
giving Supergirl what she needs. I wonder if I saw Tim Russ in the council or not... but the bit at the end of the one
Argo City council member a devotee of Reign. DUNDUNDUN!

Time is devoted as well to the Alex / Ruby relationship, but I found it marred by the "person from the past is out to get Alex."
Mind you, seeing Alex drop everything and go into Mama Bear / kickass mode was EXCELLENT! I also liked the use of J'onn's
and his shapeshifting abilities to bring out the real culprit, but again, the endgame was a bit of a mess with the cliche
"he could tell the difference between us by our smell."

The final scene of Lena and Reign, and Reign goading Lena about her killswitch and being darker than she realizes...

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

- Alex : "she's called Supergirl for a reason."

- vitrol from reign as she becomes immune to everything thrown at her, "only way to end me is to end Sam, and I don't think you
have the stomach to do that."

- Winn : "no, I do not babysit anymore," but he's just a big softie, and nice moment of him opening up to Ruby.

- Mon-El : "there is no more Daxam, I'm just Mon-El now," and his selfless moment helping one of the Argo survivors with a bit
of Braniac tech.

- Alura to Kara : "I was hoping to get to know my daughter." This line brought a bit of a tear to my eye.

- Alex : "Let's draw this guy out and take him down!"

- Supergirl : "Not Supergirl, Kara Zor-El."

Was hoping for better, but think I was let down by this episode in a big way. A-plot is the whole "save Samantha from
Reign," opening with a fight in Lena's lab between Reign and Supergirl and Mon-El while Lena prepares the rock. Good news
is it seems to work with Samantha split from Reign. With that threat dealt with, Kara has some time to consider what she
wants to do, and talks to Alex about her mother being alive and possibly going back to Argo City. Nice line from Alex,
"it's time for Kara Zor-El to take care of herself."

Granted, this gives more time for Argo City to be explored; the namedrop of Thara Ak-Var from the comics, as the chief
police officer no less, put a smile on my face. And Kara clearly conflicted between being at her real home versus her
adopted home, there's also her suspicions of something at work at Argo. Mon-El also finally admits he isn't back with
Kara just to help Reign but to sort out his feelings about her. The Big Bad reveals itself when a resident reveals their
allegiance to Reign and Selena, and Selena stealing J'onn's ship to go to Earth to be greeted by Coville.

B-plot is the Jimmy-as-Guardian and Winn bromoments after Supergirl leaves Earth, till they're both fired on by DEO weaponary.
And this is where I felt let down as it got pretty heavy into the politics of guns and gun control, with the manufacturer
talking about being a "legal family-friendly business," Lena and James being on diametrically opposed ends of the gun debate,
and at the end J'onn taking the DEO weaponless and be agents of peace.

C-plot is about the background plots with M'yrrn and Alex, the former preparing for the end and his desire to perform a
memory transfer with J'onn, and Alex looking at a National City Adoption.

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

Alex : "What's wifi like in space?"

S3E22

Second last ep of the season, but seems instead of getting better, kinda felt empty at this episode. A-plot is the arrival of the 3 Kryptonian
witches to earth, and the plan of when Krypton was doomed the Worldkiller's would come to Earth to terraform it into a new Krypton, then Kryptonian
society would follow. Though HOW Selena knew of Earth in the first place, much less had an ATLAS of Earth... There's more Donner-verse movie love,
with Selena and her cohorts taking the place of Zod, Non and Ursa in the move, and some key lines from the movies. Coville plays his part of the
loyal but doomed minion, helping prepare for Reign to be reborn, but it seems the other two Worldkillers Pestilence and Purity's blood is needed,
and the DEO is the only place where it can be found. Great action scene as the DEO is crashed and trashed by the three.. and some GREAT
kickassery/badassery by Alex, especially the usage of kryptonite bullets. Supergirl seemingly stops their plans by heatvisioning the blood, but
Selena manages to salvage some blood to bring Reign back, and have her fly to Earth's core to start the terraforming process.

B-Plot is Supergirl, Mon-El and Allura's further investigation into what Selena was up to on Argo City, and trying to get back to Earth. Seems
Zor-El was working on a version of the Stargate, but without a way to communicate with the DEO to enable the Earth-bound side, they've no way
back. By some miracle / plot contrivance they find tech lying around to interlink with AI Allura on Earth to pass the message on. And that's was
kind of where my Suspension Of Disbelief Meter snapped, given all the contrivances coming together to form this episode.

C-plot is M'yrrn preparing for his end, and wants to put his affairs in order. Great scene between Lumby and Leigh, and how much she has brought
him in his time on earth. Then a nice trip down memory lane is shared between M'yrrn and J'onn, some happy, some sad. Lumby has definitely been
a highlight this season with his presence and character.

At this point see what happens with the final episode of this season -- the possibility of 3 Kyrptonians + 1 Worldkiller v 2 Kryptonians, 1 Daxamite,
2 Green Martians, and the DEO in a final fight...

Donner-verse Lines :

- "We have powers beyond reason!"

- "She [Supergirl] actually cares for these humans."

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

- Winn's "Punch Me!" scene, and the nice moment between him and Demos. Sucks that Demos died in the attack, and Winn
dealing with how he felt he was the cause of Demos' death.

- Mon-El : "But the legion beacon didn't survive."

- M'yrrn : "How does it feel to know the 500 million moves on the Tokra board?"

- Winn's "Aleeeeex!" when AI Allura seemingly starts malfunctioning.

- Lena Luthor and Eve Tessmacher working to save Samantha.

- Coville getting his comeuppance.

- Samantha : "I promise you I'm not dying today."

- Supergirl : "Mom, this is Alex!"

- M'rynn' : "This planet is my son's home, I intend to save it with him."

S3E23

S3 finale, definitely some great moments both personal and action-wise. Wrapping up from last episode, Team Supergirl is out in force
dealing with Reign's effect on the Earth -- Alura lending a hand, Jimmy in his Guardian persona, there's a nod to Superman being in
Madagascar and Jimmy mouthing "Kick some ass, Clark" Beautiful final scene between M'yrrn and J'onn : M'yrrn hasn't given all his
memories, but has 1 particular memory he wants to give before he merges with the Earth and stops Reign. Loved as well the return of
Imra and Brainiac 5 because of a message from Mon-El, though thought there was some hidden motive there given the signaling device was
damaged.

Other nice interpersonal moments this episode was

- Samanthan and her adopted mother -- Samantha's initially suspicious, but eventually accepts her adopted mother's apology and guidance
as to what waters to drink.

- Brainiac 5, Mon-El and Winn -- with Brainy mentioning about his "distant" relative rising as a threat in the future, and how the future
needs both leaders (Mon-El) and brains (Winn). Seems Winn's scribbles last episode are a key piece of tech. Given Jeremy Jordan's departure
from the series, a nice send off for him.

- Lena and Alex 1:1, and what Alex wants from life.

- Winn and Jimmy 1:1, with Winn's uncertainty about the future, and Jimmy's revelation of taking off his Guardian mask.

Final fight / action scene against Selena and the remaining Kryptonian witches was chockfull of action, but I found a particular bit rough
with Reign seemingly coming out of the cauldron and heatvisioning to death Alura and Mon-El -- umm, the former has Kryptonian invulnerability
and the latter has a Legion flight ring -- so Supergirl seeks a rupture to travel back in time to alter time, which then leads to a Ghost-like
ending with wraith-like apparitions taking away Reign.

Final wrapup is Supergirl realizing Argo City isn't her home anymore, National City and Earth is, as well has her mission to protect both,
Mon-El and Winn taking off to the future in the Legion ship, Ruby hugging Alex and Lena and the revelation that Samantha is now fully human
with no remaining Kryptonian DNA, J'onn stepping down and promoting Alex to his position so he can live amongst humans and she can have her
work/life/kids balance, Brainiac 5 at Winn's desk, Alura promising to take Selena and her cohorts back to Argo City for trial and judgement,
Lena leaving Haron-El as well as the formula with Alura.

As to the hook for Season 4? Lena contacts Miss Tessmacher that phase 2 of trails is ready to begin with the Harun-El, and a naked Supergirl
(clone) is found wandering in Sibera.

Lines / Scenes I Loved :

Supergirl / Alura : "Nice one, mom!"

Supergirl : "I don't kill, not even her"

Ruby : "Mom you're super!" and Samantha superspeeds away

Kryptonian witch / J'onn : "What is this devilry? / Alittle piece of home"

Mon-El : "This victory was yours," and "We both got some saving to do."

Mon-El : gives Supergirl his Legion ring

Winn : "this is my calling, i'm going to save the future!"

Jimmy : "my future's now"

Alura to Supergirl : "So are you Kara Zor-El"

Winn (at the controls of the Legion ship) : "The future's going to be a steep learning curve!"

Final Danvers sister moment, and Alex's "You have no idea how happy I am you came back."
