Naruto

Post by Beckster »

Since no one here has mentioned it as far from what I see here, allow me. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, they need to, its so funny! Its about ninjas and this boy Naruto who has a very secret past. Hard to explain cause its just better if you watch it. I believe that eps #18 is as far as they have released as of now. :-D  :3 :-P

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Remember kids, trying to start Armageddon is dangerous. Do not try it at home.

[14:57] Silver Lynxy: Oh right. You're one of those Trillian people, aren't you?
[14:58] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: trillian people? =.= What are we, an ethnicity now?
[15:00] Silver Lynxy: Yes. An evil race.

I've watched it ever since ep 1, its great anime, however, it seems it likes to follow in the footsteps of 'dragonball z' as far as story progression ep by ep. If you know what I mean...

But the story is excellent, as well as the characters, but man I swear those cliffhangers sometimes piss me off! Almost every episode has one.

I just wanted to say that I finally got caught up and watched what I had of Naruto (up till #19, I'm getting 20-24 from my friend in the morning) and this is another anime I'm addicted too. Sure it has its commical sides but also a few depressing moments, its not right for an anime to make me in tears. But as with most fighting that goes on in some anime, I noticed that this one has its moments too where it drags on but thats okay, at least it isn't as bad as to what DBZ does. *shudders*

I wonder though as to how long this series will be? I heard that Viz was supposed to be picking the manga up but I haven't seen any news about it on their site so I wonder whats up with that.

I like this show, but I'm forcing myself not to get too attached to it. Why? Cause of the shonen DBZ pacing of the show. I swear the first 5 mins of the show always recap the last episode, and then they juust drag on and on and on.....

I like the story and the interaction. but just I don't like shows that drag.

So I just watch em as they come. :)

Yeah I noticed that too when they recap the last eps, I have to fast forward just to get to the recent eps, it irks me too. It does have its moments where it drags on, alot of anime I noticed does that.

I really like Naruto, even though it is kinda like DBZ in the way of the episodes...but it still is really good... My favorite character is the teacher, but I can't remember his name...But apparently Shaman King is supposed to have alot more action than Naruto... Has anyone seen it yet?

You mean Kakashi, the ninja with his face covered up cept his grey hair and 1 eye? Yeah he's cool. but I've been warming up to Gai and Rock Lee, they're just so funny to look at. :)

...collecting it, just 'cuz "I need the perfect collection" :)
It does have moments you can laugh and enjoy it too.
But I got reasons to hate it, slow and DBZ-ish pacing
for one...

...two was I was forced to watch this over Ushio & Tora!!

#26 is now out for download and its an hour long eps too. Kinda recaps of the intro of certain characters but its still pretty funny. One reason why I [heart] Kakashi so much  as well as Hokage's grandson and his little group of holigans   Naruto making fun of the female teacher was priceless but I can't wait till the action gets going while in the forest.

But lol what is up with the new ending song? hahaha- so funny. It would've been ok without the animations...

*shudders* I'm not very fond of the ending song nor the animation for it, hurts my eyes and ears. But the new opening theme is rockin, sucks though cause I just started to get use to singing along with the earlier theme song.
