Well, well
Looks like I'll move my inquiry. Probably somewhere more appropriate.

...asked this in the Armory:
is there ANY EXTERNAL PHYSICAL difference(s) between the AV8B and
AV8B+ that'd allow you to discern between the two? Been a long time
since I picked up a book on the AV8, but I do know looking at the AV8A,
you can just TELL it's the A model *eugh-YUK!*
...and I see Tau had to bring back his beloved Hind-D/E debate
As for the F-35, probably why it was never shown in the anime was the
design wasn't finalized yet -- FMP! the anime was started late 2000-early 2001,
wasn't it? Even the V-22 didn't make it in for that wierd chopper they
had on the Danaan.
Just my 0.02

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Actually I did find a physical difference, between the two models. The Harrier 2 Plus has a longer, more needle like nose, the Harrier 2 has a more blunt nose.

Harrier 2+
There is a physical difference between the two. Slight, but there is a difference.

Hmmm.... and the AV8s in FMP! have that nose mod, so it's hard to tell
which model it is But a good guess is the Plus model -- cutting
edge and all
