BOMF won't be adapted for a while... still at least one more season (or two) depending on if they bundle DVMC and COMO; or if they do them seperately

plus u never know if they'll do another comedic season

Inspired by American names...First of all, I never heard of anybody being called Bruno or Cluzot. Bluno was an American, so if his name is allegedly named after Bruno, why didn't Gatoh name him that in the first place?

That's right that Vincent Blueno is american. concerning the origine of his name, only Gato Shoji could ansxer. On the other hand, the new SRT's lieutenant is called Belfangan Grouseaux... This can be checked on the episode 8 for example.

But It's not very important and i don't want to chetter for hours about this...

Tessa is called testarossa, and is supposedly itallian...there's a ferrari called ferrari testarossa...see a connection?...it's evident that it must be atleast somewhat italian, isn't it...
Nothing certain, of course...

As for Bluno...Bruno is used in Sesame street, it appears, and this fellow:

The reason he's called Bluno?, the r and l cannot be distinguished very well, if at all, in japanese, as far as I know...it's not quite either or, if you listen to the voiceacting...it has been decided by many fansubbers to use Bluno (I don't believe his name is ever spelled out in english writing officially, though I could be wrong), as well as he boku tachi translations, and that may obviously relate to some different reason I'm unaware of, but I doubt it...

As for Cluzot/Grousaux - again, in pronounciation, very very similar...

I'm not the best linguist here, so please correct me, anybody, if you know something...

Right wih 'Bluno' pronunciation. Because his name is well Vincent Blueno, as you can see on the electronic board when tessa/Karinin were explaining the Nanjing operation to their subordonates (episode 3)...

But that's only one guy with the name Bruno. The Clouzot thing is probably just how Brandi translated it as, and Grouseaux is just how the Japanese tried to romanize it? This name stuff is a very delicate matter since of course translations will be different, and we don't know what's going on in Gatoh's head.

It could be that the characters have really unique names. It could also be that he's trying to give them names typical for the countries they originate from....But since it's all in his head, we don't know.

A thought just came to mind. Quite spoilerish, though...

[ecs]So we want Leonard's ass on a platter. To do that, Sousuke needs the motive, the opportunity, and the means. At the end of COMO, he has to get Kaname back (motive), but he has no leads (opportunity), and no Mithril/Arbalest (means), to use the terms loosely. The motive was always there. Now at the end of BOMF, he has the beginning of an opportunity: the lead given. Therefore, he next needs the means.

No prizes, but the next novel after BOMF could possibly involve Mithril and the TDD returning to the picture, with a fixed-up - if not souped-up - ARX-7, complete with wise-cracking. (I don't know which one I miss more, the Arbalest's form or Al's "personality".) That would definitely make Sousuke a Burning One Man Force... well, short of the burning, I guess.

"THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING RED!!!!!"

Any suggestions on how they're going to bring the White Knight back into the picture, with Bunny (as far as we know) dead and gone?[/ecs]
